The Department of Education (DE) offers a subsidy (subject to availability) for French teachers and students from government schools who wish to attend Alliance Française Immersion Days. Please see below for how to apply.

High-School Students

Government Schools - DE offers a 100% subsidy for high-school students enrolled in government schools in Victoria to attend our French Immersion Days.

How to apply:

• Please download and complete the form via this link – DE Subsidy Request Form

• Return the form by email to our Education Coordinator: educationcoordinator@afmelbourne.com.au and samantha.norman@afmelbourne.com.au

• If you are applying for a DE subsidy, please do not enrol and pay for the course via our website or Customer Service Team. Once your application has been processed you will be automatically enrolled into the immersion day and will receive confirmation by email. Places are allocated on a first come, first served basis. The number of places available in each course as shown on the website is not indicative of the number of subsidies available. 

• You will receive a receipt from our Customer Service Team. This is also your booking confirmation for the immersion day

• Additional information for students about the immersion day will be emailed up to two days before the course takes place.
