VCE 1&2 Semi-Private Exam Preparation

Note: Note: this class will run for 1 hour 45 mins per week for Term 1 over an 8-week period. For future terms, the pace will go back to 1 hour 30 mins h per week over 10 weeks (whenever possible).

No class on Mon Mar 8 - Labour Day.

Objectives

Limited to four students only, these semi-private online tuition sessions focus specifically on providing Year 11 students taking VCE 1&2 French with additional, tailored support in their preparation for oral and written assessments.

Our qualified, native French speaking teachers – who are experienced in teaching VCE students and up-to-date on the new Study Design introduced in 2020 – will provide guided and personalised help with how to approach their assessments throughout the year, including the Conversation and Discussion sections of the oral exam, and the Reading, Writing and Listening aspects of the written exam.

With a much smaller group size, students will be provided with individual support from the teacher while also having the opportunity to prepare for the assessments together with three other motivated students. Our teachers will be able to offer valuable, tailored advice and assistance to help students go into their assessments and exams with confidence.

Each week you will take part in a face-to-face virtual class via Zoom, which will run during the stated course schedule above. Additionally, you will also gain access to our online platform Apolearn, where you can interact with your teacher and your fellow students. This is also where your teacher will upload class content during the course. If Zoom and Apolearn are new tools for you, rest assured - we will be guiding you along the way! All students will receive more information on how to use both platforms prior to your first class.
