If you’re taking VCE 3&4 French this year, then this course is for you!
This immersion day will help you to prepare for the VCE3&4 French exam by familiarising you with the format of the exam and immersing you in the French language. Our team of qualified native-speaking teachers will guide you through a variety of activities that focus on each aspect of the VCE3&4 French exam.
Students will gain an understanding of the exam format, how to approach each section, and how best to study for it. Our teachers will also provide a lot of helpful tips and hints, including what not to do during the exam. Our teachers are experienced in teaching VCE3&4 and will be able to help you with any issues and give you the best chance of doing well.
The Department of Education offers a 100% subsidy for high-school students enrolled in government schools in Victoria. To apply for the

The AFTV also provides scholarships for high-school students from independent and catholic schools to participate in Alliance

This class is designed for young students who have finished our Children 6 level classes, or who have an equivalent A2 level.
In this class, students will continue their progression in all aspects of the French language – reading, writing, listening, speaking and grammar. Each week, students will complete a variety of engaging activities to ensure that they continue to enjoy learning. Building on their existing knowledge, students will learn how to talk about topics such as technology, the past and the future, their home, books and eating habits
This program is designed to be studied over a full school year, so that students can progress to the next step the following year.
If your child is in high school in grade 7 to 9 and has an A2 level of French, or a level that is more advanced than their school curriculum please contact us to organise a level assessment.

Year 7 (A1) is for high-school students who are starting to learn French, either at school, or just with us at Alliance Française. With our native-speaking teachers, students will explore the French culture and take their first steps in learning how to communicate in French. Students will learn a range of vocabulary and language structures, such as greetings, counting, talking about likes and dislikes, family, hobbies and more!
This program is designed to be studied over a full school year, so that students can progress to the next step, Year 8 (A1) the following year. This course is for complete beginners, no prior knowledge of French is required if enrolling in Term 1.
