Versailles

Wednesday 30 September   |  6.15pm to 7.45pm

Topical workshop conducted in Frenglish.

Originally a hunting lodge built by his father, converted into a spectacular royal palace, the Palace of Versailles hosted the King’s Court and was the centre of his power in France. Versailles is therefore famous not only as a building, but as a symbol of the system of absolute monarchy which Louis XIV ventured. During this third class, participants will step into the palace and explore its history and many secrets.

Bookings are essential. Enrolments are open until Saturday 26th Sep.
