Join us for a festive weekend at the iconic Abbotsford Convent, a beautiful heritage-listed site, on Saturday 30 November and Sunday 1 December for our annual AFM Xmas Market!

With over 30 stalls offering delicious French food, arts and crafts, and unique gifts, you’ll find everything you need to bring home the perfect Christmas presents. Plus, the market will be full of family-friendly activities, live music, and a vibrant celebration of French culture.

In addition to the market, you will be able to explore the beautiful gardens and lush green spaces of the Convent, perfect for wandering and enjoying nature with family and friends while eating some delicious French food. 

We’re finalising an exciting program, and full details of the market’s entertainment schedule will be shared soon! Following the success of last year's market at Spring Place, we’re excited to bring the festive spirit back, bigger and better than ever.

Getting to Abbotsford Convent

All day parking is available in the car park opposite the Convent. Funds from the car park go towards the restoration and daily operation of the Convent, and also support the Collingwood Children’s Farm.

 Mernda or Hurstbridge train lines arrive at Victoria Park Station, 14 minutes from the Convent.

 Bus 200 or 207 within 3-5 minutes walk from the Convent. 

 Cycle or walk to the Convent! The Capital City cycling and walking path directly passes the Convent.
