Did you know that French toast already existed in Roman Antiquity? Literally translated by "lost
bread", Pain Perdu is a recipe made with the bread leftover to avoid food waste. It is good for the planet... and for the
belly!

1. Mix together 3 eggs and 500mL of full cream milk. Dip the bread inside and leave them for a few minutes.
2. Bake them on a pan with butter. You can add sugar or honey and fruits. We recommend you to add honey, goat cheese and walnuts. Un délice !
Top tip: For extra flavour and texture, let the brioche soak a little longer in the egg mixture, and cook on medium heat to get a golden, crispy outside without burning.

1. Mélanger 3 œufs et 500 ml de lait entier. Trempez chaque tranche de pain dans l'appareil et
laissez-les pendant quelques minutes.
2. Faites-les cuire dans une poêle avec du beurre. Vous pouvez ajouter du sucre ou du miel et des fruits. Un délice !
