This class is for primary-school children, from Grade 1 to Grade 6, who have never learned French
before. Students are introduced to the French language via a variety of engaging and practical activities. Students will learn a range of
vocabulary and language structures in French, such as introducing themselves and others, counting, naming objects, talking about their
hobbies, likes and dislikes, telling the time, describing someone, and giving and following instructions.
Children remain in this level for the whole year.

Our French clubs provide younger learners with the opportunity to learn French through a stimulating program, teaching children to communicate in French through games, songs and a variety of fun activities.

Our French clubs provide younger learners with the opportunity to learn French through a stimulating program, teaching children to communicate in French through games, songs and a variety of fun activities.
Les Maternelles is designed for pre-school children aged 3-5, to provide young learners with a fun introduction to everyday
French! Each session is packed with hands-on learning activities, all designed to help children develop social skills and interact in a
group. Using games, arts & crafts, stories, songs and other activities, the teacher introduces and reinforces French vocabulary and
phrases.
Please provide your child with her/his own snack for snack time (no nuts). Please note that this is a drop-and-go class. It is strictly
reserved for children aged 3-5 years old who are fully toilet trained. Class numbers are limited to eight students to ensure that each
child receives maximum individual attention.
Important: There are two groups of Les Maternelles. If your child was 3 years old as of February 13th 2025, please enrol them
in the specified 12pm class. If your child was at least 4 years old as of February 13th 2025, please enrol them in the
specified 8:30am class. If you are unsure which class is best for your child, please contact our Customer Service Team.
