Description and structure

TEFAQ: Test d’Evaluation de Français pour le Québec / French Assessment Test for Quebec. It has been specially designed to be consistent with the standards of the Ministry of Immigration (MICC) of Quebec, and is only intended for people wishing to settle in Quebec.

Prices

The Alliance française de Melbourne organises the e-TEFAQ, the electronic version of the test.

Schedule

Unless clearly advised otherwise, all exams are organised at our St Kilda location during business hours. We reserve the right to add extra days for each session.

Please note that candidates will receive an email one week before the test at the latest to inform them of the precise day and time of their examinations.

Results

As soon as the TEFAQ session will be corrected by the CCIP, candidates will receive an email from them with a link allowing them to access their certificates online. Please note that no paper duplicate of certificates will be provided.

If candidates wish to receive  a paper duplicate of their certificate, they will have to order it on the CCIP online shop and they will be charged 50 euros.

How to register

  1. Read through the information on this page and the TEF/TEFAQ Terms & Conditions (in French) carefully.
  2. Download the registration form, fill it in and email it back to educationcoordinator@afmelbourne.com.au
  3. You will receive an email confirming your registration.
  4. You will receive your test schedule by email one week before the examinations at the latest.
  5. If you have any questions, please contact Cécile Plaa at educationcoordinator@afmelbourne.com.au

How to prepare

Group courses: we offer collective courses from A1 to C1 levels online, in St Kilda and in the CBD, including DELF/DALF preparation courses throughout the year. Not sure what your level is?
