I did not receive my Apolearn login details.
Please check your junk mail and look for an email titled “Vos identifiants de connexion à Alliance Francaise de Melbourne”. It would have been sent to the email address you used for your enrolment. This email includes a link to Apolearn (afaustralie.apolearn.com); your login email and an automatically generated password you will need to log in.
On Apolearn, how can I change the settings of the language to English/French?
On the top right corner of your screen, you will see your name with a little triangle underneath. Click on that little triangle. There will be a few different categories, including profile and languages. Select the language you prefer (English:Anglais).
I logged into Apolearn but my screen looks completely different to the images in the guide.
We are aware that some of you are getting a different distribution of options on Apolearn. For you to access the content of your class, you will need to click on “Accueil/Home” in the top-red area and then click on “Actualités/News/Newsfeed”. Once you’re here you will either read a message saying “No activity at the moment/Aucune activité pour le moment” or you will see an option to join your virtual class. If you don’t see the option to join your virtual class yet, don’t worry! It will be added there closer to the start time of your class. We advise to refresh this page, 10-30 minutes before your class starts and you will see it there!

When I click on the Zoom meeting link for my class, I see the message ‘Host is in another meeting’ or ‘Waiting for host to start
meeting’ but my class has already started. What should I do?
Firstly, close Zoom (either application or in the browser) and then refresh your course page in Apolearn. Now try to click on the link to join your virtual classroom again and it should work!
I am using a tablet/iPad and when I access my class on Zoom, I can’t hear anything. What should I do?
If you are using a tablet/iPad, we recommend that you click on join your virtual classroom with the application, rather than from your browser. We’ve noticed that there are some issues with audio when using Zoom through the browser on mobile devices.
