DELF Junior: a specially adapted version of the DELF diplomas for secondary school students, i.e. young people aged from 12 to 17 years.
Also open to all young French citizens who reside in a non-francophone country and who are schooled in local institutions.
Issued by the French Ministry of Education, internationally recognised and valid for life.
Divided into four diplomas corresponding to the first four levels of the Common European Reference Framework for Languages: A1 and A2 (for basic-level users), B1 and B2 (for independent users).
Designed to assess the communicative skills of a candidate in a real-life situation, using authentic documents, rather than the linguistic and formal grammatical knowledge.
Four skills are evaluated through two examinations:
collective examination: listening, reading, writing;
individual examination: speaking.

Results are emailed to you about one month after sitting the test. After this, you will then receive emails advising you when your certificate and diploma have arrived - certificates require a few weeks after test results and diplomas require a few months - so that you can come and pick them up. If you cannot come and pick them up, we can arrange to have them sent to you: you will need to provide us with an A4 Registered Post envelop with your name and address on it.
Results assigned by national juries are final. If you failed the exam, you may apply to have a look at your exam paper within two weeks of your results being emailed to you. It can only be organised by appointment at our premises in St Kilda. To apply, please email Marion Nouvel at email@example.com.
Note that DELF Junior examiners and markers are all trained and authorized by the CIEP. They follow strict assessment guidelines and are regularly monitored.
Read through the information on this page carefully.
You will receive an email confirming your registration.
You will receive your exam schedule by email one week before the examinations at the latest.
If you have any questions, please contact Marion Nouvel on 03 9525 3463 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
