Little Nicholas

France – 2010
Laurent Tirard

Nicolas has a happy existence, parents who love him, a great group of friends with whom he has lots of fun, and all he wants is that nothing changes... However, one day, he overhears that his parents are expecting another child! Nicolas envisions the worst: his parents will not have time to take care of him anymore, and they might even abandon him in the forest like Tom Thumb... Along with his mischievous friends, Nicolas thus devises a series of plans to get rid of the baby.

Learning activities include: listening activities, vocabulary exercises, matching games, reading comprehension exercises and writing short paragraphs.

Topics covered include: family and friends, school life, describing people, body parts, expressing likes and dislikes.
