Kirikou And The Wild Beasts
G
France – 2005
Michel Ocelot
From the depths of his cave, a wise old man announces to the audience that the story of Kirikou and the Sorceress didn’t do the hero justice. For Kirikou, the clever little boy who was born already able to speak, and who runs as fast as the Road Runner, has accomplished many other vital things for his village. We discover how he learnt to become a gardener, a detective, a maker of pottery, a merchant, a traveller and a doctor… whilst remaining as ever the smallest and bravest of heroes.
Learning activities include: reading comprehension exercises, hands-on activities, matching games, listening activities and songs.
Topics covered include: weather and seasons changes, pets and animals, daily routine.
