Professional Development for French Teachers
B2 DELF DIPLOMA FOR FRENCH TEACHERS
Alliance Française de Melbourne, in partnership with the Victorian Department
of Education and Training (DET),
is offering the opportunity for practising government school teachers of French to undertake training for the Diplôme Elémentaire de
Langue Française (DELF - Diploma in French language) at level B2, between Term 1 2020 and Term 2 2020.
The DELF is an internationally recognised French Ministry of Education diploma which is designed to assess the communicative skills of a candidate in a real situation, using authentic documents to evaluate know-how (writing, asking for information and exchanging opinions) rather than linguistic and formal grammatical knowledge.
The DELF for Victorian teachers comprises a 50-hour preparation course to support participants improve their written and spoken French in preparation for the DELF examination.
FRENCH IMMERSION DAY FOR FRENCH TEACHERS
Alliance Française de Melbourne, in partnership with Department of Education and Training (DET) is offering the opportunity for primary and secondary practicing teachers of French to participate in an immersion day on the 20th or 21st January 2020 (please note that the same program will be offered over these 2 days, teachers need to choose only one day).
Teachers (both primary and secondary teachers) will participate in targeted sessions which will enable them to SPEAK French, SHARE practices and COLLABORATE using engaging activities and resources for the French language classroom.
