In 2019, the VCAA introduced ‘viewing’ into the learning outcomes of the VCE French Study Design. Along with Reading, Writing,
Listening, and Speaking –
Viewing is the fifth macro skill that will be examined in VCE French: representing a new challenge for VCE
This seminar is designed for Victorian high school teachers of French, and will explore this new macro skill, offering creative ideas on how to implement it in the classroom. We will discuss what exactly “viewing” signifies, what material can be used, how to create viewing exercises and how this skill can be assessed effectively.
This event is designed to bring French teachers of Victoria together to share ideas and meet other like-minded professionals, as well as to provide them with useful tips about the new VCE French Study Design.
AFTV members must purchase a ticket and will be reimbursed by AFTV after the event.
Government school teachers must book a ticket via the Alliance Française in order to receive the DET subsidy. Please email your full name, name of school, and what class you teach to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Please note: this event is restricted to Victorian high school teachers of French only.
This event is not endorsed by the VCAA.
