LA FRANCOPHONIE 2016 - RESULTS
What a successful competition it has been this year with many taking part by submitting their photos, videos, drawings and poems!
Results for primary schools:
Children were invited to select a word of their choice and illustrate it through a drawing or a short poem. Four schools took part in the competition and we received more than 50 submissions!
Laureates:

Amishi Tripathi for her illustration of the word "poudrerie". Using light colouring pen, pieces of plastic pockets and glittering powder, it was a beautiful collage depicting a snowy landscape. Click to display: Poudrerie.pdf

Zara Paynter for her illustration of the word "chafouin". Zara chose to illustrate the word using the process of personification, associating "chafouin" to a fox which was beautifully drawn. Click to display: Chafouin.pdf
Results for secondary schools:
High school students were invited to select a word of their choice and illustrate it through a photo or a video. Eight schools took part in the competition and we received more than 80 submissions!
Laureates:
Olivia, Sammy and Emily from Auburn High School who submitted two shirt video-clips illustrating the words "fada" and "dracher". Very creative guys, bravo !
A group of students from Toorak College submitted an amazing video clip: "le tap-tap magique". The work, the efforts and the creativity they showed in order to put their story and video together were praised. Well done girls! Congratulations to: Isabella Papadopoulos, Luci-Anne Watts, Ella Guiney, Molly Stocker, Alexandra Roberts, Tara Moy Nihan, Sophie Kerkhof, Mischa Kurzeme, Bella Hall and Charlotte Baker.
Special mention of the runner-up: Camille Dubois (Glen Eira College) who illustrated the word "ristrette" with humour.
All three videos are shared below. We would like to take the opportunity to thank all the teachers who are commited to their students and who do an amazing work all year-long. Thank you for your participation and enthusiasm.
