LA FRANCOPHONIE 2017 - RESULTS
What a successful "Dis moi dix mots" competition it has been this year with many taking part by submitting their drawings or videos! Seventeen schools took part in the competition, which represented a huge amount of submissions! Thank you for your participation! :)
Results for primary schools:
Children were invited to select a word of their choice and illustrate it through a drawing.
1st prize: 3 winners!
Gypsy Gunn for his illustration of the word "nomade". Using warm colors, pieces of plastic and some glue to fix everything together, it was a beautiful collage! We can really feel the "gypsy's spirit" in that art work. See the picture below:
Bowen Yi for his illustration of the word "pirate". Everybody loved this cute little pirate penguin, with his french flag hat, sword and eye patch. Very adorable and creative work! See the picture below:

High school students were invited to select a word of their choice and illustrate it through a video.
Kshipra Vaidya from Presbytarian Ladies' College who submitted one amazing video clip illustrating the word "nuage". We congratulate the effort of Kshipra by making this work alone, which was not an easy task! Good french speaking. Bravo !
James, Jarrod and Angus from Upwey High School who submitted one very funny video clip illustrating the word "pirate". We really enjoyed watching the trailer of this epic film that tells the story of three reckless and adventurous pirates!
A group of students from Bacchus Marsh Grammar who submitted one very great video clip illustrating the word "canular". We appreciated the common project and the team work, as you chose a difficult word to illustrate. Well done girls! Congratulations to: Chealsea, Lois, Georgia, Caitlin and Hannah.
