Mohamed Camara and Jarabi present a vibrant mix of traditional and contemporary music from Guinea, West Africa, taking audiences on a journey from the ancient Manding Empire to contemporary city life. Combining the rich influence of Mohamed’s Manding heritage with contemporary styles, Jarabi create a unique sound that reflects Melbourne’s vibrant and diverse music scene. You will find your feet and heart moved by the rhythms and songs of Guinea!

Where: Alliance Française, 51 Grey St, St Kilda.
Date: Wednesday 4 September
Time: Doors open at 7:30pm. Concert starts at 8pm
Tickets: Full $25 / AFM & The Boîte members $20. Advanced online bookings recommended as places are limited. 

AFM members: please check if you are logged in to receive the discount. Only one discount ticket per single or concession membership and a maximum of two discounted tickets for a family membership.
