Alliance Française de Melbourne & St Kilda Jazz present:

Oscar Jiménez & The new Impromptu Quartet

This November, the Alliance Française welcomes back Oscar Jiménez & The New Impromptu Quartet for a night of Latin jazz!

Colombian born singer songwriter and guitarist ChibCha, aka Oscar Jiménez (Amaru Tribe, Watussi) is back by popular demand! After a sell-out show in February, the Alliance Française is delighted to welcome him back, along with the New Impromptu Quartet for a show of Latin jazz and Colombian folk & roots music. Oscar is a performer of many styles whose music is on the vanguard, crafting a cross-cultural sound that mirrors his geographical journey. Oscar has performed at festivals around the world and toured and shared stages with international artists such as Manu Chao, Seun Kuti, Santana and more.
