The Alliance Française French Film Festival, will return for its 27th annual season in Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, Canberra, Brisbane, Perth and Hobart. It is not only the biggest foreign film festival in Australia, it is also the biggest festival of French films outside of France.

From early March until early May 2016, the Festival will present you with the best in contemporary French Cinema which has never been more popular in Australia than it is right now. The Alliance Française French Film Festival audience includes Australians, French, Francophiles and movie buffs – all keen to experience the latest sophisticated, vibrant and daring films from France.

Proudly presented by the six main Alliances Françaises and in association with the Embassy of France in Australia and the generous support of Principal Sponsor Peugeot, the Festival will be hosted by its long-term exhibition partner, Palace Cinemas.

For its 27th season, the Artistic Director has selected a tantalising line-up of more than 45 films from which to choose. This is your chance to indulge in the latest French comedies, dramas and thrillers. The Festival's full line-up will be available from 2 February 2016.

Next March can’t arrive quickly enough to experience the very essence of French culture!
