The teacher then introduces the day’s theme through storytelling, music and other interesting activities, incorporating new vocabulary that is reinforced daily through games and fun projects including arts and crafts. Snack time provides a moment to relax, to play outside (weather permitting) and to practise basic interactions in French. While this school holiday program is entirely in French, teachers try their best to cater to specific needs and abilities of each child.
