Objectives

This course takes place 100% online.

Each week you will take part in a 1.5h/2H face-to-face virtual class via Zoom, which will run during the stated course schedule above. Additionally, you will also gain access to our online platform Apolearn, where you can interact with your teacher and your fellow students. This is also where your teacher will upload class content during the course. If Zoom and Apolearn are new tools for you, rest assured - we will be guiding you along the way! All students will receive more information on how to use both platforms prior to your first class.

This course is for students in their fifth or sixth year of learning French.

This VCE 1&2 (B1) French course for high school students continues over 4 terms and is designed for students who already have a strong knowledge of the French language. This course is for students who need extra practice at an advanced level in order to prepare them for their tests and exams.

Why study at the Alliance Française?
Following the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages, our students develop four core language areas: speaking, listening, reading and writing. In this course, students will enhance their knowledge of French and their language structures with intensive practice and various interactive activities, with an emphasis on communication in class and a methodology that will prepare them for their exams.

Course prerequisite: Year 10 (A2) course or 4-5 years of learning French.
