This full-day French language workshop is designed to revise relative and object pronouns in an engaging and interactive way, to ensure students are comfortable using them in both spoken and written situations.

French ‘object pronouns’ are those tricky little words in sentences that replace nouns affected by verbs. There are two main types that we will study closely during the day: direct pronouns (le, la and les) and indirect pronouns (lui and leur). French ‘relative pronouns’ are the connectors – these words link relative clauses to main clauses so that you don’t have to repeat subjects and objects (qui and que for example).

This one-day crash course is designed to help answer all of your relative and object pronoun questions! In the morning, the teacher will revise the direct pronouns (le, la, les), the indirect pronouns (lui, leur) and the relative pronouns (qui and que). You will be able to review how they work and when they are used by comparing with English, observing texts and completing various exercises. In the afternoon, various activities will take place to allow you to put your skills into practice: conversation, games, role plays, etc. Once you begin to use relative and object pronouns correctly, your French will sound a lot more natural.

This class is catered for students who have completed A2.1 - A2.6 or who have been previously assessed.
