Inspired by resistant Nancy Wake's life story, Martin Elepans and Etoile Marley created Madame Andrée: a French/Australian music and cabaret collective since 2011.

Of the few that survived WW2, the most notorious female agent labelled 'The white mouse' lived to be 98 years old. Australian special agent Nancy Wake was the most wanted woman by the Gestapo, a ruthless fighter and lover of all things French!

During the war, England's Special Operations Executive (SOE) sent female agents into France to fight the German occupation. Women could travel on trains or ride bicycles with explosives hidden under their groceries without arousing as much suspicion as men.

With a background in dance and circus, Etoile is an established performer in the dance and burlesque industries and founding director of Beebop Arts: dance and entertainment. She has performed nationally, in Paris, Rio and Hong Kong.

Whilst in London, Martin Elepans held a residency at Andrew Lloyd Webber's Princess theatre. He has performed all over Europe, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore and Japan. He wrote and co-produced a French styled album featuring Kate Ceberano called "I'll see you there”.

The show Live and Resist features an original music score in French and English, singing, dance and multimedia.
