A French Audio Guide


Enjoy your visit at the exhibition “Napoléon – Revolution to Empire” with a French audio guide about Napoléon's first wife, Joséphine.

 

Proudly created by Alliance Française de Melbourne in collaboration with the National Gallery of Victoria.

This french audio guide tell the story of Joséphine before she meet Napoléon until she became the Empress Joséphine.  You could listen, among others, the life of Joséphine during the French Revolution, how she meet Napoléon and how they relation was passionate. You can also listen the story of Joséphine in Malmaison that she bought while Napoléon was in Egypte and where she died in 1814.

All of these texts are completed by a lecture of originals letters from Napoléon and Joséphine to give you a realistic aspect of their story.
