The month of the documentary
"Living youth" (Vivre sa jeunesse)
at the Alliance Française
Entry free / BOOKING ESSENTIAL
Each November, The Month of the Documentary is the opportunity for the general public to discover a variety of films and documentaries: recent works, film heritage, films for the cinema, or audiovisual and autoproduction works, etc.
Many documentaries presented are rarely seen on the screens, due to TV slots being more and more limited and to distribution and exploitation difficulties. The Month of the Documentary brings visibility to these works often unknown.
The program “Living Youth” includes 4 documentaries that all share a romantic tone in their filmed reality. They do not intend to show a current statement about a typecast youth. The direction for each of these films explores a freedom in cinema in order to portray the youth’s conflicts, desires and relationship to the world.
The program will include:
L’APPRENTI (The Apprentice) de Samuel Collardey - (French with English subtitles)
►Tue 20 Nov at 2.30pm and at 6.30pm
ECCHYMOSES (Ecchymosis) de Fleur Albert - (French with English subtitles)
►Thu 22 Nov at 2.30pm and at 6.30pm
DIX SEPT ANS (17 years old) de Didier Nyon – (French with English subtitles)
